Coming in with a lot of new technologies that DeMarini has put for the first time in any of their fastpitch bats, DeMarini Whisper is one of the most technologically advanced fastpitch bats ever built.
It presents a fantastic addition to DeMarini’s already great lineup of high-performance fastpitch bats and is just pure fun and joy to hit with.
Construction & Features
As we said, DeMarini has developed new technologies and implemented them in the new Whisper to make it perform as best as a fastpitch bat possibly can.
In the 2021 DeMarini Prism+, one of our favorite bats, DeMarini has put a Gaped Wall Technology in the barrel, which serves the purpose of creating a spring effect.
In the new Whisper, that Gaped Wall Technology is much improved, and now has more of a gap between the walls, creating a more impactful effect, therefore, increasing the performance of the bat. It’s called the Amplified Gaped Wall Technology, and it’s one of the main features of the 2023 DeMarini Whisper.
A Continuous Fiber Composite Barrel is also present on this bat, and it continues DeMarini’s tradition of using the strongest and highest quality barrel material possible. This feature makes the bat more durable than some of its closest competitors, like the Easton Ghost Advanced.
2023 Whisper also introduces us to DeMarini’s new and most advanced connection piece, end cap, and handle. The new Anomaly Connection and Trumpet Handle are engineered to work seamlessly together and give the player better exit speeds. Keep in mind that in the -9 and -8 versions of the bat, the handle is a bit wider in order to give power hitters more power.
Last but not least, we’ve come to the end cap. This bat features a new, Anomaly End Cap, which will give the bat more durability and increase its performance.

Speaking of performance, the 2023 DeMarini Whisper is built to be a very versatile bat. The -10 drop is designed for contact hitters who need a bat that can produce power as well as get to the gaps, and that’s exactly what the Whisper delivers.
As mentioned above, it’s got the most advanced connection piece and handle, but the best part about this bat is the Gaped Wall Technology that’s been added. The Gaped Wall Technology creates more spring and pop in the bat and delivers some amazing exit speeds.
Even though the bat is balanced, power hitters can also enjoy it, since the -9 and -8 versions of the Whisper feature a slightly wider handle that allows them to have a better grip and generate more power.

DeMarini’s 2023 Whisper is a beautiful bat. It has a very sleek look and the barrel features a dominant white color with splashes of two different variants of grey which all go very well together. The finish is amazing and all the graphics on the bat are really well-detailed.
